How to design 18 square meters of shopping mall candy kiosk

Design objectives

Design an 18-square-meter candy display kiosk in the shopping mall. The aim is to create a space that is attractive, fun and functional. To display all kinds of candy products, attract customers’ attention, and increase candy sales.

Design principles

1. Highlight the theme: Take candy as the theme, create a sweet and joyful atmosphere through color, shape and decorative elements.
2. Eye-catching: The unique design and eye-catching logo make the kiosk stand out in the mall.
3. Reasonable layout: Make full use of limited space to achieve a reasonable layout of display, sales and storage functions.

Spatial layout

Display area

The exhibition area occupies the main space of the pavilion, about 12 square meters. The open design allows customers to freely browse and choose sweets. Design multi-layer display shelves, which can be classified according to the type, brand and packaging of candy. Display stands can be made of wood or metal, with bright lights to highlight the color and texture of the candy. In the center of the exhibition area, a large candy shape display table can be set up to attract customers’ attention. Some special candies or limited edition candies can be placed on the display table to increase the appeal of the display.

Sales floor

The sales area is located on one side of the display area and is about 3 square meters. Set up a cash register and a small packing station for customers to buy and pack candy. The cash register can adopt a simple design, with modern payment equipment, to improve sales efficiency. The packaging desk can provide some exquisite candy boxes and bags, so that customers can choose according to their needs.

Storage area

The bottom of the display area can be use as lockers for storing candy stocks and related items. Shelves and lockers can be enclose in design to maintain the freshness and hygiene of candy. At the same time, some signs can be set up in the storage area to facilitate the staff to manage the inventory.

Color and decoration

Color selection

1. Focus on bright and vivid colors, such as pink, yellow, blue, etc., to create a sweet and joyful atmosphere.
2. Different colors can be use on the wall, floor and ceiling of the pavilion to increase the sense of layer and interest of the space.
3. Candy display stands and packaging tables can use neutral colors such as white or wood to highlight the color and texture of candy.

Decorative element

1. Some colorful balloons, ribbons and other decorations can be hung on the top of the display pavilion to increase the happy atmosphere of the space.
2. Some lovely candy decorations can be place on the display shelf, such as candy house, candy dolls, etc., to increase the interest of the display.
3. Some pictures or illustrations of candy can be hung on the walls of the sales area and storage area to increase the decoration of the space.

Lighting design

Integral lighting

Bright white lighting is use to provide even illumination throughout the pavilion. Some recessed lamps or chandeliers can be install in the ceiling to ensure the brightness of the entire space.

Emphasis lighting

Set up some key lighting fixtures on the display stand and display table to highlight the color and texture of the candy. Lighting methods such as spotlights or lamp strips can be use to increase the attractiveness of the display.

Decorative lighting

Some colored light strips or neon lights can be set up on the top and around the pavilion to increase the decoration and interest of the space.

Identification and guidance

Logo design

Design a unique brand identity for display booth signboards and promotional materials. The logo can adopt the shape, color or related elements of the candy to highlight the brand’s character and personality. Set up some small signs at the entrance of the booth and on the display shelf. Information such as the type, brand and price of candy is indicate to facilitate customers to select and buy candy.

Guide design

Set up some signage at the main passageway and entrance of the mall to guide customers to the candy display kiosks. Signs can be in bright colors and simple graphics to highlight the location and character of the kiosk.
